Onside Property Academy
From first home to future wealth.
Practical, no-jargon property education for young sports professionals. We run group workshops for 15–20 people, tailored to any sport, with two levels of depth: a sharp insight session or a focused, number-led workshop.
Enquire about a workshopWhat the academy covers
Built for players, not investors
We explain property in the context of a sporting career: short earning windows, busy schedules, and the need to make sound decisions early without becoming an estate agent.
First home fundamentals
What to look for when buying your first property: location, finance, deposits, surveys, and why your first purchase shapes everything that follows.
Property as an investment
How rental income, capital growth and refinancing work together. We explain yield, equity, leverage and risk in plain language.
Planning while you play
Short careers, long futures. How to use your earning years to build a portfolio that still pays you after the final whistle.
Avoiding common mistakes
The deals, structures and shortcuts that catch young players out — and how to spot them before a penny is committed.
Format
Group sessions, adapted to your squad
Group bookings
Workshops are built for 15 to 20 people at a time, ideal for academies, squads, player associations and management teams.
Adapted to your sport
The principles stay the same, but the examples, timings and case studies are tailored to football, rugby, cricket, athletics or any professional sport.
Two levels of depth
Choose a concise insight session for an overview, or a deeper focus workshop that walks through real numbers and builds a personal buying plan.
Insight session
A 60–90 minute overview for 15–20 young players. We cover the basics of buying a first home, how property creates long-term income, the risks to watch for, and what a good first purchase looks like.
Focus workshop
A deeper half-day session for smaller groups who want to work through real numbers. Includes yield, refinance, renovation maths, and a personal buying framework each attendee can take away.
Who it is for
Academies, associations and young pros
- Under-18 and under-21 academies — help players understand money before the first contract lands.
- First-team young pros — a private, practical session while their earning window is open.
- Player associations and unions — educate members in groups, with discretion and consistency.
- Clubs across any sport — football, rugby, cricket, athletics, motorsport and beyond.
15–20
people per group booking
We keep sessions interactive, confidential and sized so every attendee can ask questions without a crowd.
